Emma was introduced when Jacob stumbles upon the loop. Emma lives in the loop that is ran by Miss. Peregrine, the loop never changes the date (the 3rd of September 1940), but throughout the day you can do lots of different things, but in the evening a bomb is dropped but no one dies, after that the loop resets and its September 3rd 1940. Emma was Jacob's grandfathers girlfriend. But after Jacob's grandfather Abe left the loop to fight he never returned, but went off to America to have a family. She is a peculiar, which means that she has some sort of power, her power is that she can make fire with her hands. Later now, she became Jacob's girlfriend.
